I am a biz-tech journalist and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles.

Till September '02, I was working as the managing editor of Silicon Alley Reporter and section editor for Venture Reporter magazine, in New York City.

For SAR, I managed, wrote and edited daily news/feature stories on online media, technology, and hi-tech finance, which were sent out as part of the daily e-mail newsletter to about 50,000 subscribers.

For Venture Reporter, a bi-monthly magazine on venture capital business, I wrote features on venture money in the online media/entertainment industry and allied technologies, analyze startups in the sector, and interview venture capitalists investing in this sector.

Prior to that, I was the digital media reporter at Inside.com, the media news site which closed down in Oct 2001.

I completed B.Tech in Computer Engineering from India in 1996, and did my Masters in Journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2000. I was the Knight Foundation Fellow at Indiana for the duration of the course.
