In June 2007, Joe was named Senior Vice President and General Manager for the CBS Audience Network. Ferreira, who most recently served as Vice President of Programming, Executive Producer, CBS Sportsline.com, coordinates among various CBS properties to oversee programming and syndication decisions for the newly-created and recently-launched CBS Audience Network. Ferreira also manages the relationships with the 24 online partners that have signed up with the Audience Network within the two months since its inception. Together, these partners distribute CBS content to nearly 90% of the Web through the Company's open, non-exclusive content syndication strategy.
Dr. Geiger directs the development of strategic research partnerships and oversees research innovation and product development. He has consulted with clients across the broadcast, cable, satellite, syndicated television, telecom and internet industries, including: ABC, Buy.com, CNN, VOOM, Disney, FedEx, Microsoft, Nokia, Showtime, TiVo, Warner Bros., The Weather Channel, NBCUNI, King World, and Visa. Prior to forming SmithGeiger, Dr. Geiger served as Vice President of Professional and E-Commerce Services for BizRate.com, the leading supplier of e-commerce research and intelligence, and the largest B2C shopping marketplace on the web.
James Hibberd is an award-winning journalist whose blog " Rated " covers primetime television programming for the Los Angeles-based trade publication TelevisionWeek and its New York-based sister magazine AdvertisingAge. " Rated " combines the witty commentary of popular entertainment blogs with bottom-line focused business reporting. Topics range from breaking exclusive news about hit shows to analyzing ratings to covering industry events. Previously Hibberd wrote investigative feature stories for the Phoenix New Times and the Austin American-Statesman. His freelance work has appeared in the New York Times, Salon.com, Details, Men's Health and other publications.
Phil McIntyre Entertainment (PME) has been producing, promoting and representing acts since 1974. For twenty years the company was one of the country’s leading rock’n’roll promoters, working with bands such as The Smiths, Culture Club, New Order, Tears for Fears and Metallica. PME has recently promoted the sell out arena tour of Queen and Paul Rodgers.
Mac McKean is a writer who began to experiment several years ago in video installation and interactive art while pursuing a masters degree at the Tisch School of the Arts interactive program (ITP). His work has since appeared around the city, in such venues as the Dumbo Under the Bridge Arts Festival, for which he won an award, the East Village's Remote Lounge, and elsewhere. He is pursuing work that combines that narrative and structural qualities of the written word with visual experience and the immediacy of physical installation.
David Rolfe is now VP, Director of Integrated Production at Crispin Porter + Bogusky. He works from the agency's Boulder office and is pleased to be back forging the way Integrated Production will work in our industry in the near and extended future. He served at the agency for six years, having founded Integrated Production at the agency in ‘04, and briefly left Crispin to take on production at DDB Chicago. During his two years in Chicago David rose to become Director of Production, and worked to develop long-form, web and television work for such clients as Anheuser-Busch, McDonald's and Office Max. In years past, Rolfe's work at Crispin received almost every industry award including a 2005 Titanium Lion at Cannes.
