As a designer turned researcher/author with more than twenty books to his credit, Daniel Gray still cringes when asked to pen his own bio. His background in typography and graphic design provided the perfect springboard for the remarkable success of his first book, "Inside CorelDRAW!," which ran for six editions (New Riders, 1990-95). Dan landed his first and only Internet job in 1995, providing content and from-the-floor trade show reporting. (Rest assured, it wasn't called blogging back then.) He gleefully cast down the shackles of conventional employment in 1998 to go fully independent and hasn't looked back since.
