Al Yellon is, each early morning, a television director for ABC-7 in Chicago. But by afternoon, evening and night, he blogs about the Chicago Cubs for the SB Nation Cubs site "Bleed Cubbie Blue". Yellon is 51, ancient by sports blogging standards, but this long-suffering fan has seen more losing seasons (and felt the joy and agony of near-championships five times since 1984), and brings the unique perspective of spending his summers in the Wrigley Field bleachers to the blogosphere.
